I began working in the bridal industry in 1986. I graduated from Bryant College in 1987 with a business degree. In 1988 I decided to open a bridal shop. I owned and operated it for 8 years. I greatly enjoyed dealing with brides, their mothers, bridesmaids, and prom girls. To help someone find the dress of their dreams, that looked great and fit their budget was very satisfying. However, I found more pleasure dealing with them than the corporate manufacturers and suppliers.
I decided to close the store and expand on what I enjoyed most: altering the gowns. I then began contracting with local bridal shops to alter their gowns. To this day I still contract out to shops but also work privately out of my house. This creates very flexible hours for not only my clients but also for me and my family.
I take pride in creating a friendly and relaxing atmosphere that people can come to during an exciting time in their lives. Friends and family are always welcome to join you for your fittings.
